Hyderabad would host nine Indian Premier Leagues (IPL) 2025 matches, spread over March 23 to May 21.
In the first match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, in this season of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad would compete against Rajasthan Royals on March 23, a Sunday. Sunrisers Hyderabad would play against other teams in the seven matches at the stadium. Thereafter, Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches are scheduled to be held on May 20 and 21 respectively.
Four of the matches are on weekends. Except the first one which is scheduled to begin at 3.30 p.m., the rest eight matches would start at 7.30 p.m.
Hyderabad Cricket Association’s president A. Jagan Mohan Rao has earlier said that the stadium underwent a makeover. Seating in the stadium was replaced and canopies were spread on the eastern and western sides.
