Abhishek Sharma went on a rampage against the England bowlers in the fifth Twenty20 international in Mumbai on Sunday (February 2, 2025).
England won the toss and sent India to bat in the final T20I. India is leading the series 3-1.
Opener Sanju Samson scored two sixes in the opening over by Jofra Archer. After the wicket of Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Verma went for quick runs and hit the England bowlers to all parts of ground.
Abhishek Sharma completed his century in just 37 balls. India were 145 for 2 when he scored his century.
Rohit Sharma had scored the fastest century in T20 international by an Indian in just 35 balls. That was against Sri Lanka in 2017.
