IPL 2025: Water bottles, selfie sticks among 12 items prohibited at Hyderabad stadium

Rachakonda Police issued a list of 12 items prohibited at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal of Hyderabad, where Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 matches are being held.

Hours before the Sunrisers Hyderabad are scheduled to play Lucknow Super Giants on Thursday (March 27, 2025), police officials have once again released list of items fans are barred from taking inside the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad where Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 matches are being held. Among the 12 prohibited items are water bottles, selfie sticks, backpack bags, earphones etc.

As per the list released by the Rachakonda police. the prohibited items are eatables; cameras and other recording instruments; water bottles, alcohol & beverages; pets & animals; firecrackers; helmets & binoculars; laptops & selfie sticks; cigarettes, lighter & match box; guns, knives & other weapons; backpacks & handbags, drugs.

“Bringing prohibited items is at your own risk as there is no cloakroom available for storage,” as per a communication from Rachakonda police.

Eight more matches would be held at the stadium in Hyderabad. One was already held on Sunday. Sunrisers Hyderabad would play against various teams in the coming six matches. This will be followed by Qualifier 1 and Eliminator, which are scheduled for May 20 and 21 respectively.
