Nitish Kumar Reddy is set to join the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp ahead of IPL 2025. He has been cleared by a medical team at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru after completing all the fitness tests, including the yo-yo test.

The all-rounder had been recuperating from a side strain that he picked up during the T20I series against England in January.

The 21-year-old had a very productive 2024 campaign. He scored 303 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 142.92 for SRH in the IPL and was retained by the team for ₹6 crore ahead of the recent auctions.

After making his international debut in the T20I series at home against Bangladesh, he then featured in all five matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, where he scored his maiden Test century (114 at the MCG).

SRH is set to get its IPL season underway with a home clash against Rajasthan Royals on March 23.
