Mother of producer Allu Aravind and grandmother of star Allu Arjun, Allu Kanakaratnam, passed away at the age of 94 on Saturday. She had been unwell for some time due to age-related health complications, and her demise has cast a deep shadow over the Allu family.
Many celebrities made their way to Aravind's home to extend their condolences and support to the family. Among those who visited early in the day were megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Naga Chaitanya, director Trivikram Srinivas and many other friends, showing the close relation of the Allu family and Konidela family over several decades.

Pawan Kalyan who also serves as the deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, and is Aravind's younger brother-in-law, could not make it immediately due to his political commitments. As per a 123Telugu report, he was in Vizag for the Senatho Senani meeting, a crucial engagement that kept him occupied through the day. As soon as he fulfiled his professional comitments, Pawan made sure to head straight to Aravind's home despite the late hour.
Videos of his late-night arrival surfaced on social media, quickly drawing attention. Dressed in his signature simple attire, Pawan was seen greeting family members with folded hands before sitting down with Allu Aravind and Allu Arjun to offer his condolences.
