Dhanush's 'Kuberaa' Continues Strong Run, Earns ₹1.25 Crore on Second Monday

'Kuberaa', featuring a star-studded cast including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, is maintaining its box office momentum. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film is performing well into its second week.

Early estimates from Sacnilk suggest that on its eleventh day, the second Monday, 'Kuberaa' earned ₹1.25 crore. This brings the film's total domestic box office earnings to ₹81.70 crore.

The crime drama had a successful first week, accumulating ₹69 crore, primarily driven by the Telugu and Tamil-speaking audiences. The movie grossed ₹2.5 crore on its second Friday, followed by a substantial ₹4.2 crore on Saturday and a further increase to ₹4.75 crore on Sunday.

'Kuberaa' Day 11 Occupancy Details:

The Telugu version of 'Kuberaa' recorded an overall occupancy of 16.08% on Monday. Morning shows had an occupancy of 11.62%, increasing to 16.57% in the afternoon, peaking at 19.56% in the evening, and holding steady at 16.57% during the night shows.

The Tamil version showed an overall occupancy of 12.68%. The morning audience turnout was 12.05%, rising slightly to 14.40% in the afternoon, then decreasing to 10.60% in the evening before increasing again to 13.68% during the night shows.

Synopsis of 'Kuberaa'

The film features Dhanush as Deva Kallam, Nagarjuna as Deepak Tej, and Rashmika Mandanna as Sameera, with supporting roles from Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil.

The storyline revolves around a powerful businessman, Neeraj Mitra, aiming to exploit a rare oil reserve with political support. He recruits Deepak, an upright but jailed CBI officer, to conduct a secret operation using a group of beggars as decoys. When Deva discovers a plot to eliminate him and his fellow beggars, he escapes, sparking an intense pursuit.

'Kuberaa' premiered in multiple languages on June 20.
