Shahid Kapoor has officially wrapped up his upcoming project, tentatively titled 'Romeo', and he celebrated in style with co-stars Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary.

In a video shared by Avinash, on his handle, the trio can be seen taking a joyride through the streets of Spain in a convertible sports car. The boys seemed to have a blast speeding down the scenic roads, while Triptii seemed to have a tough time holding her hair in place.

Shahid also took to his handle to announce the wrap and teased fans about the film, revealing that it gave him a chance to explore a "madly different character." He said that every time he works with director Vishal Bhardwaj, it feels like entering a "new world."
The actor also gave a shout-out to the cast and crew of the film. In a special shoutout to co-star Triptii, he said, "I had a total blast.” While talking about co-star Avinash, he thanked him for his "playlist" but went on to add, "can’t reveal much more here brother."

He also praised veteran actors Nana Patekar and Farida Jalal for their memorable performances. He said, "Watch out for her act in this one. @iamnanapatekar thank you for those oh so layered scenes we got together @official_farida_jalal ji for your warmth and grace."
He also dropped hints about a yet-to-be-revealed surprise addition to the ensemble, while teasing fans about the film’s music and high-energy sequences with Disha Patani. "Have to say @dishapatani you and me killed the 2 songs and I can’t wait to collaborate again you are so much fun," he said.
Shahid, meanwhile, shared a behind-the-scenes monochrome picture with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, describing Romeo as a “super special” project.
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in Deva (2025), where he played ACP Dev Ambre, a police officer struggling with memory loss while solving his best friend’s murder. The film, also starring Pooja Hegde, released on January 31.
