Hollywood superstar and former wrestling icon Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shocked fans worldwide when he debuted a strikingly leaner physique at the Venice Film Festival.
The actor, who has spent decades building his larger-than-life image both in WWE and Hollywood blockbusters, has gone viral once again, this time for shedding the bulk. Known for his physique, Johnson appeared almost unrecognisable as he walked the red carpet with a noticeably leaner and slimmer build. According to reports, the actor has shed nearly 60 pounds, dropping from his signature 300 lbs to around 240 lbs, as part of his preparation for the highly anticipated biopic 'The Smashing Machine'.

For the event, the actor made an appearance in a loose-fitting shirt with formal trousers that seemed to highlight his trimmed-down physique. The star was seen putting on his best smile as he posed for photos.
About Dwayne's drastic weight loss
The film sees Johnson step into the role of legendary fighter Mark Kerr, a character that demanded the actor to undergo a dramatic physical transformation.
Johnson also spoke about consciously adjusting his extreme high-calorie diet to a high-protein, low-sugar diet that enhances his workout regimen.
Fans quickly took to social media, with many expressing disbelief at the change in the actor's appearance, while others praised Johnson’s dedication to his craft.
“Unreal!,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “The Rock looks unrecognisable.”
