Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's 'Ek Tha Tiger' is set for a theatrical re-release. The 2012 blockbuster, part of the YRF Spy Universe, earned Rs 320 crore globally. The re-release date is yet to be announced. Salman Khan will also star in 'Battle of Galwan'. His recent film 'Sikandar' did not perform well at the box office.

Ranvir Shorey recalled that YRF had indeed approached him for Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai, but the terms didn’t sit right with him. According to him, his logic was simple—if a role and performance is well received, then both screen time and fee should grow. But the makers didn’t budge, and Shorey decided to walk away from the project.
